Ragging Battle |

There is a battle down deep within,
No one sees it quite like as I do,
And it rages as if to consume me. |
I fight to win as it does,
To make sure I survive come what may,
And it rages as if to consume me. |
It comes from all the hate in the world,
It comes in many different forms,
And it rages as if to consume me. |
Oh, to face this evil that I battle,
Yet, it has no face,
And it rages as if to consume me. |
The ragging battle goes on each day,
Grabbing at my heart throwing it about,
And it rages as if to consume me. |
This battle is always being fought,
To my knowledge I haven't lost,
And it rages as if to consume me. |
It's battle that everyone must fight,
To hold what's dear inside their heart,
And it rages as if to consume me. |
A never ending evil inside every heart,
I fight to love, not hate,
And it rages as if to consume me. |
Though I'm told it's not really there,
I feel it in everything I come near,
And it rages as if to consume me. |
So far I've won this awful battle,
So for it's not consumed me,
And will always rage as if to consume me. |
