Code of Ethics

As an evaluator and website designer, I Morning Star, promise to adhere to the following ethics:

I agree to maintain a professional, friendly and positive attitude in any correspondence held with any Applicant.

bullet

I will fairly evaluate all sites meeting my criteria and treat their owners with respect.

bullet

I will refrain from giving negative criticism, unless asked specifically for my input.

bullet

I agree not to discriminate on grounds of race, gender, religion, profession, or handicaps.

bullet

I agree to evaluate all submitted sites within two (2) to four (4) weeks of receipt of submission.

bullet

I agree not to give out any information about any Applicant to any third party persons, organizations, groups, or agencies of any kind.

bullet

I agree not to expect an award in return for my awarding your website.

bullet

I agree to state my Criteria and to adhere to the same.

bullet

I agree to evaluate websites under the Criteria which was in place at the time of any and/or all applications.

bullet

I agree to immediately inform any Criteria compliant Applicant in writing, of a 'Refrain to Evaluate' if it is found that a Conflict of Interest would occur in evaluating their website.

bullet

I agree not to divulge any information about any Applicant to persons, groups, or agencies not directly connected to my Award Program, and only then for the purpose of evaluating submissions and notifying winners or non-winners.

bullet

All information received from Applicants via email submissions or submission forms will be deemed private.

bullet

I agree to maintain any owned individual websites that include Awards Programs to a standard that meets the Criteria of the Award given. In the case of any Award and/or Awards offered that are OUTSIDE the main subject of my website, any and/or all such websites will be maintained to a high standard of integrity in all their main areas.

I agree that it is not, and never will be, mandatory at this website to sign a GuestBook or to join a mailing list.

bullet

I agree that it is a requirement that any and all websites that are granted my Award from this website must be linked back to my website in a method that will be outlined in Award notification emails.

bullet

I agree that I will not grant this Award to, or in any other manner endorse or promote, any website that endorses, promotes or contains content which is considered globally to be illegal or discriminatory whether it be against humans or animals of any type.

bullet

I agree not to accept favors of any sort in exchange for preferential treatment of submissions.

bullet

I agree that I will take all measures necessary to maintain the honor and integrity of my Award Program at all times.

Ethics Pledge

I, Morning Star, promise to honor other websites by using the criteria as set forth within this awards program to the best of my abilities in the following way:

By showing no prejudice against any website during considering them for an award.

By insuring that each website needs to earn the award they receive.

By welcoming all applicants except where stated within my criteria.

By not considering websites that contain illegal content, pornography /explicit sexual material, or discrimination of any type.

bullet

By using a professional, friendly and positive attitude during any correspondence with an Applicant.

bullet

By respecting the privacy of all applicants regarding their personal information sent to my through the application for this awards program.

I, Morning Star, created this pledge on: January 1, 2005; rewriting it on: April 22, 2009. In writing this pledge, I wish assure all who come for an award that this awards program does its best to treat each applicant equally by respecting them at every turn.
