About HHAA

Helping Hands Awards Association (HHAA) use to be Helping Hands Awards. What make me change this into an association for awards programs was the fact that I wanting to do more than just award other websites. I wanted to give awards program owners and awards seekers a safe environment in which they could fine each other. I wanted to offer the awards community as a whole, another place in which to list their awards program that gives them advertisement in order for the awards seekers to fine them. It's a choice that I believe it right for this website and for the internet community.

HHAA is about the safety of everyone on the internet, as we want all people from all walks of life to be able to visit this website with the insurance that no spam or porno websites will be listed with us. This is a website about the internet community that gives them a place to get together for a purpose. It is about helping that goal along and doing our part in giving rated awards programs to the public.

Our rated programs listed will be of the highest possible quality, and their owners will mostly likely uphold high standards that most of the public are looking for these days. We at HHAA, are in this to help the public in general to find what they are looking for in both quality websites and awards programs that meet a criteria that best suits their awards programs.

A difficult task some will think, and yes, it can be. But with careful evaluation of the awards programs, it can be the best thing for the interest of the general public. We not saying that we're prefect, for we too are only human. What we are saying is, that we will do our best to bring you the best that we possibly can when it comes to good quality in awards programs.

What We Offer

We offer awards programs a listing with a rating that best suits them by set criteria's. The criteria's themselves are set so that each level of rating is different and has different criteria for each separate level. The criteria's are for qualifying purposes that each awards program must meet in order to become a member. Achieving these different levels in rating usually isn't a simple matter, and has its own difficulties in achieving them.

Achieving the Rating Level

When an awards program applies for a rating here at HHAA, we first evaluation their application for accuracy. This means that we check the URL to be sure that it opens properly to their awards program and does not have that dreaded 404 error that nobody likes. We then check the website itself, including the main website (if there is one), for the safety of our viewers. So it must pass these two items before the evaluation of their awards program even begins.

If an awards program cannot pass these, then they are denied membership until they can. Harsh, one might think. But in reality, it isn't harsh at all. It's in the best interest for our visitors and for this association. After all, we want the safest and best possible awards programs for the public.

Once the first two items are met, we continue our evaluation for the criteria's to be met. We go through each awards program with careful reading of each for each level criteria. When they no longer meet the criteria, the evaluation stops and they are sent the level badge for the last criteria met. The process can take four (4) to six (6) weeks depending on how many applicants we have at any given time.
