HTML Special Characters Cheat Sheet

Special characters are HTML text strings, that when parsed by a Web browser, display certain symbols and image-like text (sometimes called "wingdings").

There is often more than one way to code a special character, with some of the more common ones allowing for both numeric and text strings.

You may use either, but text is easier to remember than numbers.
