Digby's Web Awards (DWA) is dedicated to promoting the well-being, health and safety of dogs and cats. DWA is also dedicated to the promoting of good will towards the treatment of all animals large or small. DWA welcomes Personal, Commercial & Non-Profit Websites owners to apply, but strictly encourages and demands that all aspects pertaining to this awards program be read BEFORE applying.

I invite you, the visitor and potential award winner, to explore my award program and website. This is more than just a awards program, but also a website which appeals to a large audience since it is about anti-animal abuse. Be sure to read all the information on this awards program to insure that you are familiar with all the criteria's and terms of use within it.

It is my purpose and mission to award personal websites for their efforts in designing their personal websites. In this mission, I hope to help create a safe environment for all people around the globe for a safe and enjoyable Internet for all to enjoy. To do my part, I offer these awards by application and list the winners in four major categories for all who come here to visit and see for themselves why these web sites won these awards.

In the same respect, I award web sites for pure enjoyment and to share those websites with the world who have meet the criteria's here at Digby's Web Awards. It has been my honor for several years to award deserving websites from around the globe, and in so doing, they have giving much delight to many. Web sites are a way to communicate our knowledge and share it with others. In that sharing, it takes hard work and effect to bring it to the world wide public, and provide that information in a safe way for all to view. In their efforts, I commend those who strive to keep the Internet a safe and enjoyable place for all ages.

In due respect to the safety and privacy of any applicant, I keep all records of any application completely confidential. It is important to me that anyone applying for my awards be safe and confident in the information sent to me will be kept without sharing their information with any third parties whatsoever. In my mission to provide a safe award program, an applicants information is never displayed on any given webpage within the awards program for everyone's protection. Child under the age of 16 are not accepted for the evaluation process, and will not be contact should they apply for these awards. I believe in the C.O.P.P.A. standards in high regards to the privacy and protection of children around the globe, and will uphold my governments laws on these matter.

I offer, by application, gold, silver, bronze and merit award to personal web sites only to encourage them to keep up the efforts in design, content, navigation, and imaging. It is my belief that when a person decides to create their own website that it should be a fun and enjoyable experience that they personally enjoy. But it is always a encouragement to receive an award for those efforts.

I offer awards to all personal web site because it is always fun and enjoyable to see what someone else has created for others to enjoy. I am in this for fun, and never profit from any award I give to others for their efforts in design. I enjoy doing my own site so much that I decided it was a good idea to give back what I have received and help encourage others to do the same.
