Delightful Designing Award Program is dedicated to providing a trust worthy award program whose primary focus and goal is on website design excellence. DDAP is also dedicated to promoting good will and taste in website design that offers each applicant a chance to receive a bit of recognition for their time and effort in creating a safe environment for all web surfers to enjoy. This is not "give away", and the awards offered here must be earned by website owners by meeting the criteria set forth within this award program.

DDAP dedicates this award program to webmasters who have spent a great deal of time on their websites and who show creativity in design and content. DDAP evaluates with a staff team, who's primary goal is to give recognition to those who have worked at creating their websites to be family friendly for all viewers; and, to those who have put 110% into their websites. DDAP welcomes all website owners to apply, but strictly encourages and demands that all aspects of the Criteria and all other information be read BEFORE applying.

There is absolutely no charge or fee of any type to apply for the awards offered in this award program. As you will have earned the award should you receive it, just by the way your website appears and in the HTML document itself and how it works. We do a complete evaluation of your website that determines your eligibility for this prestigious award program. Which tells us and you just how well your website is designed just by you receiving one of our awards.

Purpose & Mission

The purpose of this award program to help others become the best possible webmasters that they can be. My stuff and I, do our evaluations with integrity and honor to help better the quality of the Internet Community as a whole, and to give recognition where due for those who strive for excellence. To receive one of these awards is a high honor, as they are not easily won.

Our mission is to grant an award to those who have gone to extra lengths to create the best websites possible. We enjoy a well designed website that shows the owners hard work and efforts. There is something to be said for the creativity in a website that cannot be found anywhere else, and in that creativity, we look for all the elements as well to be in working order, with excellent organization. We also look for excellence in content, imaging and preparation of a website. As it takes these things and so much more to create a well designed website that works properly throughout.

This award program is about fairness and honesty, integrity and merit. You can rest assured, that if you receive one of our awards, it is certainly well deserved. Therefore, we keep our standards as high as possible for our award program, and hope that all use their websites as a means to promote good well and good taste. To do all of these things, takes hard work and perseverance.

Program Operation Techniques

The award program is operated and ran on a basis that offers the webmaster of a website the opportunity to apply for the awards offered here at Delightful Designing. We expect the webmaster to be the owner of the website for which they are applying for, and maintain they own website with they own design and personal touch that only they can supply. However, they are also expect to design they website in good taste and faith, so that it is viewable by all age groups.

Your website is reviewed/evaluated on what it has as well as your technique in design and layout. All aspects as to what we expect are defined in our criteria's, and we follow these criteria's when reviewing/evaluating your website.

On the criteria's page, you will find the "General Criteria", "Disqualifying Criteria" and "Deductions Criteria".

	The "General Criteria" outlines what we expect to see on your website.
	The "Disqualifying Criteria" outlines the items that are unacceptable.
	The "Deductions Criteria" outlines what we will deduct points for on your website.

These criteria's (rules) are what we will follow to evaluate your website for our awards. Our first visit is to make sure your website is eligible for these awards. Once eligibility is established, we notify you of your status, giving you a reference number by which you may follow your progress. Please Note: If you are applying for our awards, READ ALL THE CRITERIA. If you do not, you risk being disqualified. And yes, we can tell if you have read it or not.
