Introduction

While creating this award program, I thought of many different things that have always been a concern to me with website design. And the result is something of that between a give-a-way and earned award. Yet, do not that this as a give-a-way award, because in order to receive it, you must follow the criteria's.

Even though I am not rated with any affiliations or belong to any associations, think of this award program as though it were rated. The reason for this is because it does uphold to certain standards that I hold as an important part to giving awards. For example, in the awards community, they have always believed in doing their part to make the internet a better and safer place for all ages. And with this program, I believe in that cause and will uphold my standards to it.

The Key to Winning This Award

1. Read the Processes page COMPLETELY so that you know what to expect.

2. Read all the Criteria's on the Criteria page COMPLETELY.

3. Check your website against the Criteria to be sure you qualify.

4. Add or Edit anything necessary.

5. Check your website again against the Criteria to be sure you qualify.

6. If all has been done that can be, apply for this award.

7. If you receive notification that your application was accepted with a Reference Number, check back with this website on the Status page for your progress. I ONLY notify winners, so this is the only way you'll know if you've won or not.

8. If you notice that your evaluation is completed, and you haven't received the award yet, allow me time to prepare the award and send it to you. It takes time to get everything ready.

The purpose of "The Tiara Award" (TTA) program is to encourage people who create their own personal websites to do so with integrity and honesty. To promote good well and provide webmasters with an award that says, "I'm doing my best at all times to make my website family friendly.

The mission of TTA is to award websites for their hard work and efforts in keeping the internet a safe and friendly environment for all ages. And for doing their part in creating a website that is both a tribute to themselves and the people who visit it.

With the two statements above said, I want to welcome all who come here and encourage them to explore my award program. I ask that only persons with a personal website apply for this award, as I will not evaluate a business or non-profit website of any type.
