Rolling Thunder Hills

The hills are alive in rolling thunder,

It sounds like horses running in the sky,

As rolling thunder crosses bye.

Hear it roll in the night,

Then comes the lighting to light up the sky,

As rolling thunder crosses bye.

The sound is haunting to some degree,

It's power mighty as its sound,

As rolling thunder crosses bye.

Some say the hills are alive,

For thunder crosses every blade of grass,

As rolling thunder crosses bye.

Hearing the sound I know it's not far away,

For rain will soon follow to green up the trees,

As rolling thunder crosses bye.

Oh have no fear as it come and goes,

It brings good things that will grow,

As rolling thunder crosses bye.

It leaves me in awe,

And peeress my soul,

As rolling thunder crosses bye.

But when it's over and all is calm,

The earth is all a new and freshness appears,

As rolling thunder crosses bye.

How I love its sound,

How it calms my soul,

It's just rolling thunder hills crossing bye.
